The central part of Bulgaria is situated in the Gornotrakiiskata plain, with many key cities. The climate in this part is mild, and very favorable for the development of various economic activities. One of the most beautiful Bulgarian towns – Pazardjik was founded in the first quarter of 15th century as a commercial center on the international road Singidunum, connecting Europe with Asia. Central Bulgaria includes also other important cities like Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora and Chirpan.
